Lawsuit to Block Texas Law SB 2337

On November 10, 2025, ICCR joined sustainable business advocates and faith-based investment organizations in a lawsuit to block wide enforcement of a new Texas law, known as SB 2337, that would prevent investors from having unrestricted access to expert advice about their investments. The filing argues that SB 2337 violates the free speech guarantees of the First Amendment and is unconstitutionally vague under the due process clause of the Fourteenth Amendment.
