ICCR is a global coalition of more than 300 institutional investors collectively representing over $4 trillion in invested capital. Our members are a cross-section of faith-based investors, asset managers, pension funds, foundations, NGOs and other long-term institutional investors

Membership in our coalition is open to institutional investors interested in engaging with their portfolio companies to help them mitigate the negative social and environmental impacts of their operations. If this resonates with your organization, we invite you to consider joining us as a member.

The Three Levels of ICCR Membership

ICCR has three levels of membership: Faith-based, Associate and Affiliate. Which one is right for your organization?

Level 1: Faith-Based Membership. Our Faith-Based members typically have one or more full-time dedicated staff in the role of corporate engagement/ESG investing. They actively participate in or lead corporate engagements, and regularly file shareholder proposals, and take part in face-to-face dialogues with corporate management. Restricted to faith-based institutions.

Level 2: Associate Membership. Like our Faith-Based members, our Associate members typically have one or more full-time dedicated staff in the role of corporate engagement/ESG investing. Our Associate members actively participate in or lead corporate engagements, file shareholder proposals, and take part in face-to-face dialogues with corporate management.

Level 3: Affiliate Membership. Affiliate membership is best suited for organizations with an interest in corporate social responsibility, but seeking limited involvement in direct shareholder engagement and advocacy. Affiliate members typically engage in more passive ESG activities such as proxy-voting in support of resolutions, portfolio screening, or joining investor sign on letters. Institutions joining as Affiliate members are often new to the practice of shareholder engagement, or hold limited shares.
