Current Internship Opportunities
Just Transition Intern:
ICCR is seeking candidates with either commensurate experience on the topic of just transition advocacy or a college/university undergraduate or graduate/law student with a passion for climate policy, corporate accountability, and sustainability. The Intern will assist the Associate Program Director, Climate & Environmental Justice, with ICCR’s Just Transition initiative. The Intern will primarily focus on company research in the service of helping environmentally responsible shareholders engage companies in the utilities space regarding their climate transition plans and community impacts. Climate Lobbying Intern:
ICCR is seeking candidates with either commensurate experience on the topic of climate policy advocacy or a college/university undergraduate or graduate/law student with a passion for climate policy, corporate accountability, and/or sustainability. The Intern will assist the Associate Program Director, Climate & Environmental Justice, with ICCR’s Climate Lobbying Initiative. The Intern will primarily focus on company, trade association, and policy research in the service of helping shareholders engage companies regarding their alignment of their lobbying and policy influence activities with the Paris Agreement. Equitable Supply Chains:
The Equitable Global Supply Chain Program is seeking candidates for an internship on human and labor rights in global supply chains. The Intern will assist the Program Director on a range of human and labor rights issues by completing research and analysis, assisting in corporate dialogues and communications, and providing support to the Equitable Global Supply Chain team. Interning with ICCR
Interns who join ICCR will make a tremendous contribution to important work with an organization that helped to found and continues to shape the corporate social responsibility movement. ICCR interns learn the importance of shareholder activism and documenting company progress. Interns will be given the opportunity to engage with ICCR program staff, ICCR members, and to attend conferences in the New York area to gain a better understanding of the issues and the field of corporate social responsibility.
ICCR’s interns come to us from a wide range of academic programs and geographies and are asked to employ an equally wide range of skills to help ICCR further its mission.
ICCR’s internship program has three terms:
