Trinity Health Statement on President Trump's Withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement

Date:
Jun 2nd 2017

Trinity Health released this statement today to express our disappointment on the decision of President Trump to withdraw America's commitment to the Paris Agreement. Trinity Health has engaged extensively the Interfaith Center for Corporate Responsibility (ICCR) in shareholder advocacy efforts on climate change. We have sought corporate support of the Paris Agreement and been successful in many endeavors. Just yesterday 62% of ExxonMobil shareholders voted to support a climate change resolution — which was put forth by ICCR. We will continue to work with the millions of people, organizations, and corporations who remain committed to a healthy population, a healthy environment in the United States and a healthy planet.
