BOERNE, TX.///April 12, 2007/// The Benedictine Sisters of Boerne Texas today
responded to media reports that Wal-Mart has been engaged in surveillance operations
aimed at critics of the company, including shareholders sponsoring proposals
at Wal-Mart's annual meeting. In a letter to Wal-Mart CEO Lee Scott, the Sisters
returned to the core labor, human rights, and health care issues facing Wal-Mart
