New York - December 8, 2003 - Today the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility
launched a new version of its powerful website. The site offers hundreds of
pages of socially responsible investing content focused on empowering and educating
visitors. A multi-tiered navigation structure including multiple drop-down menus
allows for quick access to ICCR's issues and campaigns, while a brand new shareholder
action area allows visitors to review current and past SRI resolutions and votes.
The site also has a vibrant "Members Only" area that provides opportunities
for members to conduct dialogues about issues, resolutions, and to share ideas.
A new online store delivers an array of SRI products, including the Corporate
Examiner newsletter, the annual Proxy Resolutions Book, and the Principles for
Global Corporate Responsibility.
Sr. Patricia Wolf, Executive Director of ICCR, is excited by where the website
is leading the organization: "ICCR's 275 institutional members are connected
across the country and across our different faith traditions by a dedication
to social justice. This new version of our website binds us even closer together
and will take us far into the future. We invite our friends to visit our site
and our new store. "
One of the special features of the site driving such progress is its "Members
Only" area, where ICCR's investors come together to work out corporate
strategies for the upcoming year, and download the tools and research they need
to do create corporate change, including a discussion forum, chat room, a resources/eLibrary
of corporate filing information, an interactive calendar, and a searchable database
of members.
Sr. Wolf praised the site's developers: "Website Director Julie Wokaty
and her team at MRB Communications did an outstanding job; they've given us
such a powerful tool in the fight for corporate responsibility."
