"Building and Sustaining Solutions"
Business for Social Responsibility's 2003 Annual Conference

The BSR Annual Conference will be held November 11-14, 2003, in Los Angeles, California. Their theme this year is "Building and Sustaining Solutions." This event has become the largest -- and many believe the most important -- opportunity for corporate executives to learn and network about current corporate social responsibility (CSR) issues and development. Plenary speakers include:

· Michael L. Eskew, Chairman & CEO, United Parcel Service, Inc.
· Carly S. Fiorina, Chairman & CEO, Hewlett-Packard Company
· Mr. Teruo Masaki, Corporate Senior Executive Vice President and Group General Counsel, Sony Corporation
· Arianna Huffington, Syndicated columnist and author of "Pigs at the Trough: How Corporate Greed and Political Corruption are Undermining America."
· Anthony Romero, Executive Director, American Civil Liberties Union

This year's Conference is designed to help participants::
· Get a clearer perspective on what's emerging on the CSR horizon;
· Access practical tools to help you implement responsible strategies and policies more economically and efficiently;
· Connect with thought leaders in all three sectors from around the world; and
· Engage in learning sessions that are interesting, informative and interactive.

There will be more than 30 breakout sessions covering topics vital to anyone leading or working on issues of corporate responsibility within a global company. You can expect to be challenged by expert presenters covering subjects such as investor activism, the business impacts of greater transparency, the re-emerging debate about the living wage, bio-prospecting, doing business in China and philanthropy and terrorism - to name just a few examples of what's in store for you. Some of the sessions will be designed specifically for learners; others for those more experienced in grappling with these issues.
