ICCR 2008 Everett Internships
Status: Stipend provided
Timeframe: 10 weeks, full-time, Summer 2008
ICCR is pleased to offer three summer internships
through the Everett Public Service Internship program. The
internships are available to students enrolled in U.S. educational
institutions, and carry a stipend of $280 per week for ten
weeks. Areas of concentration include energy & environment,
access to healthcare, human rights, corporate governance,
and militarism & violence. Interns will assist with research
on ICCR issues and help organize special events.

ICCR Unpaid Internships
In addition to the Everett Summer Internships, there are opportunities
for unpaid interns who wish to hone their skills and gain
experience by working in a progressive nonprofit environment.
These internships may be in any of the fields above, or in
communications or fund development, and are available during
the academic year as well as the summer. You may be eligible
for an unpaid internship if you are:
" taking a college or graduate course relevant to ICCR's
work,
" willing and able to dedicate no less than eight hours
per week for no less than 4 months or 1 semester,
" write clearly and convincingly,
" are capable of learning software programs quickly.

ICCR Communications Internship
Status: Unpaid
Timeframe: Minimum commitment of 3 months (may be extended
upon intern request), intern must commit to at least 8 hours
per week.
Start Date: Spring term 2008
This internship is ideal for a journalism
major with an interest in business news. The successful applicant
will be conscientious and detail-oriented; will have excellent
research skills, proficiency with web-based applications,
and excellent writing skills. The intern will assist in the
creation of content for an online newsletter directed at the
socially responsible investment community. He or she will
also work directly with the Director of Publications and Website
in adding content to our database of shareholder research.
Excellent language skills are a must; proficiency with or
a willingness to learn publishing software is also required.
This position will have three main responsibilities:
1. Assisting with online newsletter.
2. Adding content to the shareholder action research database.
3. Creating an online photo archive.
