Paul Neuhauser has been active in ICCR since
its founding in 1972 and is currently a member
of its Board of Directors.
Mr. Neuhauser is a Professor
of Law, emeritus, of the University of Iowa
College of Law. He is also the former Associate
Dean and Director of its law program in France.
He has been a member of the American Bar Association
Committee on Federal Regulation of Securities
since 1966. He is a former member of the Iowa
Bar Association Committee on Corporation Laws,
and is a former Chair of the Committee on Securities
Regulation. Over the years, he has represented
numerous institutional investors in corporate
governance and social responsibility matters.
In the past, Mr. Neuhauser
has served on the governing board of the national
Episcopal Church, and of the Diocese of Iowa.
He was a Member of the Investment Committee
of the Diocese of Iowa from 1973 to 2000, Chairing
the Committee from 1989 to 2000. He has variously
been a member, advisor, or chair of the national
Church's Committee on Social Responsibility
in Investments from 1973 to the present. He
served on the Vestry (and as Senior Warden)
of Trinity Church in Iowa City and has been
a member of its investment committee. He currently
serves on the investment committees of St. Boniface
(Sarasota, FL) and St John Baptist (Thomaston,
ME).
Mr. Neuhauser represented
the Episcopal Church at Partners in Mission
Consultation in South Africa and was part of
a delegation to assess peace prospects in Middle
East in 1995. He has also been a delegate to
numerous diocesan and national conventions.
He also served as a Director
of IRRC from 1989 to 2006, and as a Trustee
of the Iowa Law School Foundation from 1975
to 1989.
